MAE is made by hand in Newberg, Oregon, in the heart of Oregon Wine Country. Every product is thoughtfully made and finished in small batches.

We believe in using real, recognizable ingredients whenever possible. Our products are made without unnecessary fillers or synthetic fragrances, and our blends are created with essential oils.

Our blends are made with essential oils. We use the word blend intentionally because each one is thoughtfully composed to create a particular feeling and experience.

Everyone's skin is different. While we carefully select our ingredients, some people may be sensitive to specific essential oils or ingredients. If you have particularly sensitive skin or known allergies, we recommend reviewing the full ingredient list before use.

Yes, all of our products are vegan and cruelty free!

Our candles, hand soap, and bar soaps are made without palm oil or palm-derived ingredients. Our hand cream is a little different. It contains a palmitate ingredient that is derived from palm, but is not palm oil itself. The ingredient is RSPO-sourced, supporting more responsible sourcing practices from the beginning of the supply chain. As with every ingredient we use, we take care to understand where it comes from and how it fits into the formula.

The life of your bar depends on how often it is used and how it is stored. To help your bar last longer, keep it somewhere dry between uses and allow it to drain rather than sit in water.

Our bar soaps are made and finished by hand, so slight variations in color, shape, and appearance are part of the process. No two bars are exactly alike.

Natural ingredients, clays, and essential oils can create subtle variations in color. These variations are a natural part of a product made with real ingredients.

Absolutely. They were meant to live together. Our hand soap cleanses, while our hand cream helps replenish and soften. Together, they make a simple everyday ritual feel a little more complete.

Our hand cream is designed to absorb beautifully while leaving hands feeling soft and nourished.

Our candles are hand-poured using 100% soy wax. No fillers or synthetics.

For the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface of the vessel. This helps create a consistent melt pool and allows your candle to burn more evenly over time. Always trim the wick before each burn and never leave a burning candle unattended.
